Pahalwan Dhaba

Pahalwan Dhaba never disappoints. Their paranthas are honestly some of the best I’ve had always warm, buttery, and full of flavour. Every bite tastes fresh and comforting, like a homemade meal. The service is quick, the staff is friendly, and the food is consistently amazing. I always leave satisfied. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend. Food was well balanced and not greasy. Best Indian I’ve had in a long time. We ordered 4 meat dishes, desserts and naan and they were very generous portions and had enough for lunch the next day. So happy we found a new Friday takeout spot!

Authentic Indian Food!!! Delectable food. Everything we ordered was amazing. We can tell that the food was prepared with fresh ingredients, there was no so called restaurant like oily taste... There is a good selection of vegetarian options to choose from. The staff is super kind and lively. The tables are set at a good distance, so it doesn't feel crammed. All in all, a very good restaurant. Must try. Recommended!!

Absolute first class experience. I have just enjoyed a delicious Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan and beautiful Basmati rice. I had this as a take away, but observed a very nice restaurant inside. Polite service with free smiles. Looking forward to our next visit. We'll done.

I tried their combo of Manchurian with fried rice/noodles, and it was simply amazing — perfectly cooked, great portion size, and very fulfilling. The ambiance gives a homely and traditional vibe, and what truly makes the experience special is their friendly staff. A big shoutout to Manpreet and the entire team for their warm hospitality and excellent service. If you’re craving tasty Indian food with generous portions and genuine care from the staff, Pahalwan Dhaba is the place to be! Highly recommended.

I’ve tried noodles many times at different places, but the ones here were absolutely amazing! The taste was just perfect. Even the mix parathas were so lazeez—it truly felt like homemade food. The Manchurian had that authentic Indian flavor I was craving. The staff at the front was incredibly sweet and polite. Even though the noodles + Manchurian combo wasn’t part of the weekend deal, she kindly offered it to us at the same price since it was our first visit. We really appreciated that gesture. Overall, loved everything—the food, the taste, and the warm hospitality. Highly recommended! Absolutely revisiting!!!!!

My college is nearby and we visit Pehalwan Dhaba in Kitchener quite often. We’ve done both dine-in and takeout and every time the experience is fantastic! The receptionist is always welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home from the moment we arrive. The food is top-notch in my opinion both veg and non-veg dishes are perfectly cooked, flavorful, and fresh every time. It’s become our go-to spot whenever we want a delicious meal. Highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

A Hidden Treasure for North Indian Cuisine in Kitchener I discovered Pahalwan Dhaba completely by chance while visiting an Indian grocery store nearby. Feeling a little hungry, I decided to give it a try — and I’m so glad I did! From the very first bite, I was pleasantly surprised. The food presentation was far beyond what I expected from a casual dhaba-style restaurant — beautifully plated, vibrant, and inviting. The flavours were authentic, rich, and full of the comforting taste of true North Indian cooking. What impressed me even more were the prices. For the quality, taste, and generous portions, the value is simply outstanding. If you’re in Kitchener and looking for delicious North Indian dishes — especially starters — Pahalwan Dhaba is a must-visit. A delightful find that I would happily recommend to anyone.
